The Deets on Shipping
-
How long will it take to ship the wine?
The amount of time it takes to ship will be determined by the type of shipping you choose (i.e. ground shipping, 2-day or overnight) and where you live. Ground shipping to the east coast typically takes 5-7 business days from the date the order is placed.
Note that the fulfillment center is open Monday-Friday.
You will receive an email with tracking information to FedEx soon after the order is placed.

There are discounts, right?
We all love a good deal.
All first orders receive 10% off with code WELCOME10 at checkout.
All cases of wine (12 bottles) receive 10% off of the case with code CASE10 no matter whether it’s your first order or 100th.

Are you shipping to me?
Due to various state laws, we cannot ship to the following states: Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Utah. If you happen to live in one we do not ship to then we suggest you move. Kidding, sort of. There are restrictions put forth by many states therefore we can only ship to those states where direct shipment is permitted by law. At this time there is no international shipping. Please reach out to us for any inquiries.
-
What's my age again?
By placing an order with us you are stating that you are 21 years of age and that the recipient of the order is also 21 years of age. We require our shipping carrier to add the Adult Signature option, resulting in the carrier verifying the age of the recipient when the package is delivered.
-
What haven't I thought of but you know I should know?
We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Under certain circumstances we may change the shipping date or hold your package due to extreme weather.
Please do your best to be available on the first delivery attempt. We know you’re busy but to ensure the wine isn’t compromised, time is of the essence.
-
Can I purchase ECR Vintners anywhere else?
No, our wine is sold direct to consumer and cannot be used for individual resale.
-
Returns and Exchanges
All sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges. If you experience any issues please reach out to us via the contact page and we’d be happy to talk.
-
Weathering Issues
Weather seems to always be an issue when it comes to wine, no? Wine is a hot commodity but it can’t get TOO hot…temperature wise. During hot summer months and cold winter months we do not suggest ground shipping as the wine may be compromised. Expedited methods such as 2 day air and overnight are great options. Plus, you’ll probably need the wine quicker during those times! We are not responsible for, and will not replace, wine damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment.
-
Receiving a Shipment
If the recipient of the wine will not be at home during regular business hours, we highly recommend sending the order to a commercial or business address where the package can be received and signed for. Orders containing alcohol cannot be left on a doorstep or sent to a P.O. Box. If no one is available for delivery, two additional attempts will generally be made. If the package is not signed for and received and is subsequently returned to us, there will be an additional shipping charge to resend the package.

Read this if you live in Alabama
Is it because I’m special? Yes. For shipments within Alabama, all wine must be shipped to an Alabama ABC store accompanied by a Direct Import Authorization Form. A list of Alabama state stores can be found here. Upon the wine’s arrival at the ABC Store, you will be contacted for pickup and will be responsible for payment of the Alabama state taxes upon pickup.
PLEASE NOTE: Carriers will return shipments not properly addressed to an Alabama ABC State Store.

Special Shipping for a Hot Girl Summer
No matter the gender it can get HOT out there. As a result we have a shipping option in the summer months that you can choose at checkout but follow closely as it means more time before you get your wine.
This option will appear in checkout via FedEx Cold Chain. This entails wine shipped on a refrigerated truck to one of the 7 FedEx hubs in the US where it will then be shipped overnight in a standard truck to its final destination. Sounds great, right? It is, only the order has to be placed by Friday at noon to then be shipped the following Thursday. As a result it could take 1-2 weeks to get your wine. Please plan accordingly.

Ice, Ice Baby
If you are too impatient or need the wine quicker than FedEx Cold Chain and are experiencing some hot temps you can also add ice packs to your shipment. These will stay cold for 2-3 days so we suggest 2day or overnight shipping with these. Either way we do not suggest ground shipping when temps are running hot. Ice pack pricing is below, please add it to the comments section after choosing 2day or overnight option for shipping.
1 - 6 bottles: $3
7 - 12 bottles: $6
