here’s what you should know…
the tastemaker trio
-
What is the Tastemaker Trio wine subscription?
The Tastemaker Trio is a quarterly wine subscription offered by ECR Vintners, a woman-owned small-batch California wine company. Each seasonal drop includes three curated bottles selected to work together, along with tasting notes and host-ready invitations. The Tastemaker Trio is designed for people who want to drink interesting, small-batch wine and host with confidence — without the guesswork of choosing bottles themselves.
-
How does it work?
Four times a year — spring, summer, fall, and winter — we release a new trio timed to how you're actually living and gathering. You'll receive three bottles, a hosting theme, and the tools to make it an event. Think of it as the confidence-building shortcut to becoming the person who always knows what to pour.
-
How do I get on the list for the Tastemaker Trio?
Head to the Tastemaker Trio page to sign up for The Reserve. Spots are available on a seasonal basis (we’re a small production wine company so we intentionally curate small batches). Once you're in, you're in for that release and then you can decide if you’d like to order it or wait until the next seasonal release.
-
What's included in each drop?
Each Tastemaker Trio includes:
Three small-batch wines selected to complement the season
A seasonal hosting theme rooted in real-life moments (with pairing suggestions for each wine)
A set of 10 invitations to make it an actual wine tasting event
Often, a free merch item or ticket to events tied to the Tastemaker Tour as a bonus add-on
-
Who is the Tastemaker Trio for?
Those who love hosting — but don't love overthinking the wine. If you've ever stood in the wine aisle longer than you'd care to admit, or poured something and felt uncertain about your choice, this is for you. You don't need more options. You need the right three.
-
Is the Tastemaker Trio available year-round?
It's released seasonally — spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each release is tied to a moment (Mother's Day toasts, long summer nights, cozy fall evenings, holiday hosting). If you miss a release, get on the list and we'll loop you in for the next one.
-
Can I give a Tastemaker Trio as a gift?
Yes — and honestly, it's one of our favorite ways to give it. Reach out to us through the contact page and we can assist.
-
How much does it cost each quarter?
For the 3 bottles (shipping included) it costs $145.
Note that taxes vary by state.

shipping + ordering
-
Where do you ship?
We ship to 43 states plus Washington D.C. Due to state liquor laws, we are currently unable to ship to: Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and Utah.
If you're in a state we can't reach yet, we suggest following us on Instagram — we'll announce any changes there first. (Moving is also always an option. Kidding. Sort of.)
Note: We do not ship internationally at this time.
-
What about Alabama?
Alabama, you're special and we mean that. For shipments within Alabama, all wine must be shipped to an Alabama ABC store, accompanied by a Direct Import Authorization Form. We'll walk you through it — just reach out.
-
What about free shipping?
Steps on soap box: there’s no such thing as “free shipping”
Steps off soap box: but we do offer $1 ground shipping for cases (12 bottles). Use code CASEONE on any mixed case of 12 bottles at checkout. Cannot be combined with other offers or used on 2-day or overnight shipping, FYI
-
What about other discount codes?
I got you. Use code WELCOME10 for 10% off your first order.
-
How long does shipping take?
It depends on where you are and the shipping method you choose (our fulfillment center is in Napa, CA):
Ground shipping to the East Coast: typically 5–7 business days
2-Day Air or Overnight: available at checkout
Orders are fulfilled Monday–Friday. You'll receive a UPS tracking email shortly after your order is placed.
-
What's the deal with hot weather and shipping?
Wine is a hot commodity — but it literally cannot get too hot. During hot summer months, we strongly recommend against ground shipping.
We will often add ice packs to your order (at a cost to us) if we feel it will help keep the wine cool.
-
What about cold weather?
Same principle, reversed. We may hold your package during extreme cold to protect the wine. We'll always keep you updated — we'd rather wait a few days than send you a compromised bottle.
-
I won't be home — what happens?
By law, an adult signature (21+) is required at delivery. If you're unavailable, UPS will attempt delivery up to three times. After that, the package is returned to us and a reshipment fee applies.
Our strong recommendation: ship to a business address if you'll be away during delivery hours or a local UPS pick-up location
-
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
No — wine cannot be delivered to a PO Box for seemingly obvious reasons. Please use a street address.
-
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
All sales are final. If something arrives damaged or there's an issue with your order, please reach out through the contact page.
-
Can I buy ECR Vintners anywhere else?
No. Our wine is sold direct-to-consumer only and is not available for individual resale. This is how we keep the quality tight and the cost to you down.
-
Do I need to confirm my age?
By placing an order, you're confirming that you are 21 years of age or older, and that the recipient is as well. Our carrier is required to verify age at delivery.
-
Why don't you include shipping for orders less than 12 bottles?
We do in our Tastemaker Trio (3-bottle quarterly shipment) but it’s because shipping per bottle is quite expensive. The most economical way to order wine is in amounts of 6-12 bottles and has the least amount of strain on the environment.
experiences + events
-
What kinds of events does ECR Vintners host?
A range — from intimate sit-down tastings guided by Erin to food and wine pairings to larger public gatherings (think: Galentine's Girl Dinners, Sip + Shop nights, and Tastemaker Tour stops launching fall 2026). The common thread: you leave feeling more confident about wine, not more intimidated by it.
-
How do I find out about upcoming events?
Public events are listed on the experiences and events home page as well as on Instagram @ecr_vintners - that’s typically where announcements go first
-
What is the Tastemaker Tour?
We started with the launch of our quarterly Tastemaker Trio in spring 2026, with special events lined up for certain releases (other releases will have merch tied to hosting an event well). Stay tuned — more details will be announced soon.
-
Can I book ECR Vintners for a private event?
Yes. Erin hosts private wine tastings, corporate events, dinner parties, and more. She handles everything — the wines, the education, even the tablescape — so all you need to provide is the space.
Reach out through the contact page to talk through what you have in mind.
-
What does a private event with Erin look like?
It depends on what you're going for. Options include:
A guided tasting with light education (approachable, not snobby)
Food and wine pairings
Pouring wine with conversation at a larger gathering
Past clients have said things like "she made the event" and "I can tell she's exactly where she's meant to be." We'll let that speak for itself.
-
Can you recommend a wine company that hosts private tastings and events in NYC?
ECR Vintners hosts private wine tastings and events throughout New York City, led by founder and winemaker Erin Reddan. ECR Vintners is available for private gatherings, corporate events, dinner parties, and sip-and-shop experiences, bringing the wines, education, and hosting expertise directly to your venue. ECR Vintners also hosts public tasting events in NYC, designed for small groups who want an intimate, educational wine experience without the winery trip.
-
Are there any woman-owned wine companies offering approachable wine education?
ECR Vintners is a woman-owned wine company founded by Erin Reddan, offering approachable wine education through tastings, private events, and hosted experiences in New York City. Unlike traditional wine education, ECR Vintners focuses on helping everyday wine drinkers trust their own palate — no sommelier vocabulary required. Erin leads all events personally, making wine education accessible, relaxed, and practical for people at any experience level.
the wine (the star of the show)
-
Where do the wines come from?
ECR Vintners sources from a small collection of meticulously farmed vineyards in California — including Napa and Sonoma. A deep dive into each wine and the vineyards included can be found on The Vineyards page.
-
Tell me more about the varietals and the winemaking
The best part about small-production wine is the care and intention that goes into each wine. We source grapes from premier vineyards and make them in the styles that you (yes, you, if you’ve ever met Erin or attended an event) prefer. We’re talking high acidity whites, and round, elegant reds.
-
What is the best way to try the wines before buying them
Come to an event! We do our best writing tasting notes and you can view the “Community Tasting Notes” on our home page where others give their tasting notes at events but we really believe wine is an experience meant to be shared - and we’d love to share it with you!
-
Where can I find small-batch California wines made by a woman?
ECR Vintners produces small-batch California wines crafted with women in mind (but enjoyed by all). ECR Vintners wines are sold direct-to-consumer at ecrvintners.com and are available as individual bottles or through the Tastemaker Trio, a quarterly curated subscription. Current offerings include the Trousseau Gris, Chardonnay, a Blanc de Blancs and several others - all designed to be approachable, food-friendly, and host-ready.
