female owned wine company

meet the tastemaker behind ecr vintners

ecr vintners is a woman-owned wine company founded by erin c. reddan — which started the way most good ideas do — around a table with friends.

friends who loved wine, had preferences, and genuinely enjoyed gathering — but quietly dreaded the wine aisle decisions. they just didn’t love overthinking what to serve or how complicated and overwhelming it felt.
so Erin did what any millennial woman would do: she poured a glass and began crafting it herself.

erin understands how people feel about wine deeper than most. after years of working in a tasting room, teaching wine education classes and taking many classes herself it was the curiosity and listening to the people around her that lead to ecr vintners.

she started by listening to people.

not to trends.
not to wine rules.
to real friends.

friends who said things like:

  • “I love wine… but which one do I pick?”

  • “I overthink it every time and default to the same few bottles.”

  • “I want to host without overexplaining the wine.”

those conversations became the foundation of ECR Vintners.

We make wine inviting again.

ecr isn’t here to teach you how to swirl or memorize every region. ecr exists to strip away the weird energy that makes wine feel harder than it has to be.

we believe:

wine should be enjoyed — not performed.
good taste doesn’t require a script.
you’ve already got great taste.

so we make wines you’ll feel good about pouring:
crisp whites. balanced reds. effervescent sparklers. bottles that feel right whether you’re hosting five people or sitting with two.

and it doesn’t stop at the bottle.

we created the Tastemaker Trio to make choosing easier and hosting feel effortless. not a subscription you forget about — a seasonal trio you look forward to.

we also host tastemaker experiences — gatherings that aren’t tastings in a suit and tie sense, but real conversations around wine that feel comfortable and fun.

because hosting shouldn’t come with a test.

the best hosts don’t lecture — they set the tone.
they pour with confidence.
they make people feel at ease.

that’s tastemaker energy.

and yes — you already have it.

the name?

ecr is erin’s initials (if you didn’t already catch that!). it’s not cutesy or trying to be catchy—it’s hers. and in an industry where women have historically been left off the label, it feels like a statement worth making.
